Like it or not, previous ways of doing business are going to be analyzed, with innovations in technology more important than ever.

On March 20, 1980 a magnitude 4.2 earthquake signaled the reawakening of the volcano after 123 years. During the Spring of 1980, rising magma pushed the volcano's north flank outward 5 feet per day. On the morning of May 18, 1980, the largest terrestrial landslide in recorded history reduced the summit by 1,300 feet and triggered a lateral blast.

Over the last year, we have learned a lot about producing more accurate and easier to use data. We've also learned a lot about our users and future customers. Surprisingly, what we've found is that most people don't know bad data until it's too late.

All too often we get calls from new customers who are in a time crunch. It's always a good idea to select shapefiles and the format which is native to your mapping application. For GeoGraphix choose CDF as well (or PRA - T/R Digitizer format), and for Petra, choose PRA (T/R Digitizer).
